On the bridge deck
From the deck the subject is the structure itself: the wavy glass canopy overhead and the lines of the steel skeleton. Look along the walkway rather than across the river to use those lines as leading lines.
- Look along the length of the walkway.
- Include the canopy pattern for a graphic frame.
- Turn for river views towards Metekhi and Narikala on the sides.
From the two banks
From the riverbank you see the whole lit span rather than a detail, and the water adds reflections.
- From the riverbank, the span crosses your frame over the water.
- From the Rike Park side, you look back across the river towards the Old Town.
- From the Old Town side, the bridge frames the river and the left bank.
From the higher streets
The rising streets on the Old Town side sit above the river and give a wider, higher view down onto the bridge and the water.
Slopes and the exact viewpoint change block by block; check the walk on the day, and treat any specific spot as a direction rather than a fixed address.
